Stronger Washington team nips Fairfield, 2-1
WASHINGTON ? A low scoring soccer affair put Fairfield on the wrong end of 2-1 score Monday evening in Washington as the Trojans dropped a game to the Demons.
Washington got a boost from a whopping 12 players that were ineligible the first time around to take care of the Trojans. Pasha Bousquet converted on a Patrick Motard assist to give Fairfield an early 1-0 lead. That goal proved to be the only score of the game

WASHINGTON ? A low scoring soccer affair put Fairfield on the wrong end of 2-1 score Monday evening in Washington as the Trojans dropped a game to the Demons.
Washington got a boost from a whopping 12 players that were ineligible the first time around to take care of the Trojans. Pasha Bousquet converted on a Patrick Motard assist to give Fairfield an early 1-0 lead. That goal proved to be the only score of the game however as Washington went to tie the game with less than a minute remaining in the first half.
The two teams battled with a 1-1 tie for most of the second half before Washington pulled ahead on the decisive goal with five minutes remaining.
