Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School ?Students of the Month? award to acknowledge positive contributions of the students.
These positive contributions range from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom.

Each school month, the Fairfield Elks Lodge sponsors the Fairfield Middle School ?Students of the Month? award to acknowledge positive contributions of the students.
These positive contributions range from assisting teachers and peers in classroom activities to displaying characteristics as a role model in and out of the classroom.
The Students of the Month certificates are awarded after a nomination and voting process is completed by each grade-level teaching team. One girl and one boy are selected from the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades.
Kara Jeffrey is a fifth-grade Student of the Month. Her certificate states: ?Kara always has a positive attitude and a smile on her face. She is an extremely hard worker and can be depended on to be a leader during group assignments. Kara treats others kindly, and she is always willing to help out. She is responsible about getting her work done accurately and turned in on time. Kara displays all the characteristics of Trojan Pride, which makes her a well deserving recipient of the Student of the Month honor.?
Dalton Rippey is a fifth-grade Student of the Month. His certificate states he ?has been extremely helpful to our substitute, and is also willing to work with and help any student. Dalton is always on task and focused, whether it be getting a book out to read when his assignment is complete or transitioning to the next subject. Dalton exudes Trojan Pride in all that he does.?
Cami Schaefer is a sixth-grade Student of the Month. According to her certificate, ?Cami is a very enthusiastic member of the class and was selected as student council representative by her peers in the fall. She also participates in the FMS Dance and Drill Club. Cami works hard and holds herself to high expectations. She provides a positive role model to her classmates with her attitude and performance. Many in the classroom appreciate her calm, pleasant demeanor.?
Andrew Alonso is a sixth-grade Student of the Month. His certificate states, ?Andrew is a student who can be counted on to always do the right thing. His ready smile and eagerness to improve himself, along with his strong work ethic, make him an excellent student and dependable contributor. He is well respected by his teachers and peers for his trustworthiness and good nature. Andrew willingly helps others, which shows his positive character.?
Kailey Kaska is a seventh-grade Student of the Month. Her certificate states, ?We have been impressed all year with Kailey?s work ethic and dedication. She is a very conscientious student. Kailey participates fully in class and isn?t afraid to take risks. In addition, she is a kind person who works well with her classmates and is always willing to lend a helping hand.?
Cameron Burke is a seventh-grade Student of the Month. His certificate states, ?Cameron is an excellent role model both in and out of the classroom. He is kind, helps others and keeps a positive attitude in any situation. These are valuable qualities that will only serve Cameron well in the future.?
Sierra Vogt is an eighth-grade Student of the Month. Her certificate states, ?A hard worker with a ready smile, Sierra is someone who can be relied on to help others and to get assignments done well and on time. Polite and respectful, Sierra also has a good sense of humor and a friendly attitude toward her peers as well as her teachers. She?s an asset to the FMS Middle School community ...?
Hunter Ritz is an eighth-grade Student of the Month. According to his certificate, ?Hunter, although new to Fairfield this year, has made a positive impression on his teachers and classmates. Hunter is a quiet leader in and out of the classroom. He comes prepared to class, uses time well and strives to complete assignments to the best of his ability. He has a knack for bringing out the best in those who work with him both academically and in their behaviors. He can make work fun.?
