Suchan hat trick bedevils Chiefs for Demons soccer win
Washington answers early goal with rout

KEOKUK — Washington won a Southeast Conference boys soccer match Monday 11-2 over Keokuk.
Keokuk (0-10) scored in the first 2 minutes of the game, but Noah Suchan answered less than 30 seconds later for Washington.
Keokuk scored again in the 12th minute. Emanuel Raymundo tied it up in the 17th minute and tallied another goal less than a minute later for a 3-2 Demon advantage.
Zac Stout scored in the 19th minute, and teammate Suchan converted his second tally in the 25th minute. Luciano Marcelino kicked in a rebound in the 38th minute, and it was Washington up 6-2 at halftime.
Suchan secured his hat trick off an assist from Stout in the 46th minute then Stout produced his second goal. Erick Ortez sandwiched his two goals around an Adin Muff score.
The junior varsity had a 10-1 victory. Washington (7-3) hosts Class 2A No. 13 Fairfield (6-2) Thursday.
