Swim lessons begin Jan. 23
A program designed to present children with the necessary skills to be ready for swim teams, called ?Swim Team Here I Come,? will be held Mondays beginning Jan. 23.
Children will work on swimming strokes, leaving the starting blocks as well as building endurance. Boys and girls ages 5 through 16 are invited to join.

The program is broken up into four dates, with classes from 4-5 p.m. Jan. 23, Jan. 30, Feb. 6 and Feb. 13 at the Roosevelt Aquatic Center.
The program costs $25. Swimmers will need goggles, a swim cap and water bottle, and all three items may be purchased at the indoor pool. Registration for the program ends Jan. 24.
