Three Eagles named All-SICL
The Keota girls? basketball team had three seniors recognized by the South Iowa Cedar League?s postseason team.
Madison Sheetz was named to the All-Conference second team, leading the team with an average of 13 points per game, while picking up a team-high 8.4 rebounds on the season and averaged nearly two steals per game.
Sheetz is also the all-time career scoring leader for Keota.

The Keota girls? basketball team had three seniors recognized by the South Iowa Cedar League?s postseason team.
Madison Sheetz was named to the All-Conference second team, leading the team with an average of 13 points per game, while picking up a team-high 8.4 rebounds on the season and averaged nearly two steals per game.
Sheetz is also the all-time career scoring leader for Keota.
Madison Sieren picked up honorable mention recognition for the Eagles, after averaging 10.2 points per game, 4.5 rebounds and had a team-high 3.2 assists per game.
Sieren also led the team in 3-point shooting, with 52 triples this season, and the senior holds the record for most 3-pointers made all time.
Fellow senior Brooke Sieren also was given honorable-mention recognition for her efforts this season.
The senior averaged 8.6 points per game and led the team in steals, averaging 2.3 per game and had over two assists per game.
The Eagles will graduate all three of these seniors, as well as their other two starters heading into next season.
Keota went 11-11 this season, but was upset by Iowa Mennonite on the Eagles? home floor, cutting their postseason run short.
