Three Trojans land on All-SEC first team

Tori Ogden has been named the Southeast Conference Player of the Year for the second straight season after sharing the honor with Mount Pleasant?s Rebekah Kimzey in 2010.
The selection of Ogden marks the sixth straight season a Fairfield volleyball player has been named the SEC?s best player.
Ogden helped her team to a 28-10 record and undefeated 8-0 mark in conference play. She led the team in multiple categories, including kills (227) and digs (381). The senior also recorded 46 aces from behind the service line.
Junior Erin Thompson and sophomore Sydney Burnett also were selected to the all-SEC first team. Thompson, playing predominately on the right side of the court, was second on the team in kills (136) and tallied 27 blocks. Burnett was the main setter for Fairfield and had 374 assists and 230 digs.
Senior Taylor Neil and junior Sidney Baumann were all-SEC second team selections. As the second setter for the Trojans, Neil had 305 assists. Baumann was Fairfield?s ?jack of all trades,? placing second on the team in digs and aces, as well as third in assists.
Seniors McKenzie Lyman and Taylor Silvers, junior Sydney Howard and sophomore Marisa Repp were honorable mention.
