Tiger girls split weekend, boys routed by Danville
In both of the New London girls? weekend games, their opponent scored 38 points.

The Tigers came up short against Danville on Friday, however, losing 38-14, while stepping up their game for a Saturday win against Harmony, 49-38.
Danville swept the Tiger teams Friday at New London, holding the Tiger girls to only two points in each of the first, second and fourth quarters.
The Tigers got eight points on teh board in the third.
Samantha Koontz was the team?s high scorer with four points. Charley Lorber led the Tigers with 12 rebounds.
The team nabbed 36 rebounds overall, but also had 40 turnovers.
The boys didn?t fare much better, dropping the Friday night game to Danville, 85-19.
Justin Hill had 12 of the team?s points. Josh Francis had a team-high three rebounds.
On Saturday, the girls took the court again. But this time, a few more shots found their mark.
The Tigers doubled their scoring percentage overnight, from 15 percent to 30 percent.
They had another eight-point third quarter, but this time it was surrounded by a 13-point first quarter, 10-point second quarter and 18-point fourth quarter.
The Tiger girls went 19-for-63 against Harmony and gave up about half as many turnovers, allowing 21.
Addie Lounsbury led the team with 20 points, and Lorber added 14. Caitlin Rice scored seven.
Lorber picked up the double-double with 18 rebounds.
Lounsbury and Bria Mears grabbed seven boards each, and the team totaled 42 rebounds.
Mears and Rice each nabbed three steals.
Mears and Koontz each had one blocked shot, and Mears dished three assists.
The girls are now 2-5 on the season.
The boys are 1-5 on the season.
Both teams will play again Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Notre Dame. The girls? play first, starting at 6 p.m.
