Tigers roll Cardinal in home opener
NEW LONDON ? The New London volleyball team rolled conference opponent Cardinal in three straight sets during the Tigers? home opener on Tuesday.
New London came away with a 25-18 win in the first set before running away with a 25-5 victory in the second set. They ended the match with a 25-8 win.
The Tigers are now 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division.

The Tigers are now 5-2 overall and 2-0 in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division.
Emily Parks led the Tigers? offensive attack with seven kills; Jorgi Krieger had six and Koral Crossett had five.
Crossett topped the Tigers with three blocks; Morgan Christner and Emily Parks each added two.
Sarah Holtkamp had 18 assists in the match and Caitlin Chiri had a team-high 15 digs.
The Tigers have a busy schedule over the next few days. They travel to Danville tonight for a conference matchup against the Bears (9-4 overall) before competing in the Keokuk Tournament on Saturday.
Then, on Monday, New London will travel to Ft. Madison for the Holy Trinity Tournament.
