Tigers struggle against Danville
The New London Volleyball team struggled against a talented Danville squad last night, taking the second game of the night but losing the match 3-1.

Head Coach Maureen Heath said. ?Danville has some very nice hitters in Kayla Speer and Brittany Hoelzen and we had trouble defending them. We need to continue to work hard on serve reception in order to be ready for tournament time.?
Danville started with a 25-19 win before New London evened the comtest with a 25-21 victory.
The Bears recovered to take the next two games and the match, 25-15 and 25-18.
Koral Crossett led the team with 13 kills, followed by Charley Lorber with seven, Olivia Lounsbury, six, Baylee Lindell, four, and Addie Lounsbury, two.
Sarah Holtkamp was the assist leader with 28, and Emily Parks added two.
Olivia Lounsbury put up three blocks and Crossett had one.
Caitlin Rice led the Tigers with 16 digs. Taylor Landes followed with 14. Caitlin Chiri added 13, Sami Koontzhad eight, Crossett had five and Lindell had three digs.
Holtkamp sucessfully served 16-of-17 with one ace; Lindell was a perfect 15-of-15. Koontz, also perfect, went 11-of-11. Chiri was 11-of-12 with three aces and Landes was 10-of-12 with one ace.
New London is now 26-12 overall, and 6-3 in the SEISC.
