Tigers sweep Van Buren
The New London volleyball team swept Van Buren in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division matchup.
The Tigers defeated Van Buren in three straight sets: 25-14, 25-13, 25-18.
Jorgi Krieger led New London with nine kills, followed closely by Koral Crossett with eight and Emily Parks with seven.
Crosett put up two blocks, and Sarah Holtkamp had 22 assists.

The New London volleyball team swept Van Buren in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division matchup.
The Tigers defeated Van Buren in three straight sets: 25-14, 25-13, 25-18.

In serving, Parks was 15-for-16 with five aces, and Ashley Davey was 15-for-16 with four aces.
Chiri was a perfect 10-for-10 in serves with three aces, and Sami Koontz was eight-for-eight with four aces.
Morgan Christner was four-for-four with two aces, Holtkmap was nine-for-10 and Taylor Landes was five-for-six.
The Tigers are now 4-2 overall and 1-0 in the South Divison.
They now have a break in their sechedule, and their next game will be on Sept. 11, when they host Cardinal.
