Tigers swept by No. 3 Holy Trinity in regional semifinal

The Tigers were stopped in their tracks by the state?s third-ranked Holy Trinity volleyball team.

New London lost the regional semifinal match to the Crusaders in three sets on Friday night: 25-16, 25-13 and 25-11.

Caitlin Chiri had six digs in the match and went 10-of-10 on serves with one ace.

Bria Mears had 13 assists, eight digs and went six-of-eight on serves with one ace.

Caitlin Rice added 13 digs and was six-of-seven in serving.

Taylor Landes added eight digs.

Koral Crossett had eight kills, three digs and one solo block.

Olivia Lounsbury put down six kills and registered one solo block.

Baylee Lindell had three kills and also registered a solo block.

Emily Parks had two kills and an assist.

The Tigers ended their season 28-13 overall, and went 6-3 in the SEISC.
