Tigers wallop Wolves in Winfield

WINFIELD - It was all New London on Wednesday night when the Tigers hosted W-MU in a Southeast Iowa Super Conference crossover game. New London rolled to a 24-0 victory in fourinnings to move to 3-0 on the season.
The Tigers put up seven runs in the first inning, eight runs in the third inning and nine in the fourth. The Wolves only collected three this all night.
Jax Boyer had a big game at the plate, going 3-4 with four RBIs and three runs scored to lead the Tigers. Josh Catala went 2-2 with a double and four RBIs.
Carter Allen went 2-3 with two RBIs. Seth Bailey was 2-2 with two RBIs. Kooper Schulte knocked in two runs of his own. Jaxon Allen, Ryan Richey, Connor Schoenbein, Shae Summerfield and Cameron Raines each had one RBI.
Summerfield and Boyer each threw two innings in the win. Summerfield gave up one hit and struck out three batters, and Boyer gave up two hits and struck out one.
