Top 10 teams boys rankings out

The Top Ten teams in the first Associated Press Iowa high school basketball poll for the 2018-19 season has been released.

Two Southeast Conference teams in Fairfield and Mt. Pleasant received votes in Class 3A, but didn't make it into the top 10.

Two River Valley teams in Camanche and West Branch were ranked in 2A.

One South Iowa Cedar Legue team (Montezuma) and two Southeast Iowa Super Conference teams (New London, Notre Dame) were ranked in 1A.
