Top-ranked Mid-Prairie edged West Liberty 1-0 in a Cedar Valley Conference softball game at Carr-Vincent-Gould Field on Monday night.
The Golden Hawks (4-2, 1-0 CVC) were limited to four hits and scored their lone run in the third inning. Senior Felicia Schulty, who went 2-for-2 in the game, scored Mid-Prairie?s run. Senior Michelle Erwin and freshman Alex Rath added hits for the Golden Hawks.
