WASHINGTON — The Southeast Conference struggles continued for the Washington baseball team against Fort Madison on Monday night.
The Demons dropped back-to-back games against the Bloodhounds to fall to 0-5 in league play.
Both teams knocked the ball around in Game 1. Fort Madison escaped Washington 14-10 in the opener, and the Bloodhounds won Game 2, 5-1.
The Demons have now lost seven games after opening the year up with an 8-3 win over Highland.
Washington (1-7, 0-5) will look for some revenge on Thursday night when they travel to Fort Madison (6-4, 3-2) for Game 3 of the series.
