Trampoline sessions coming to rec center
The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department is hosting a trampoline program designed to help gymnasts develop balance, body positions, flexibility, self-confidence and strength.

The Fairfield Park and Recreation Department is hosting a trampoline program designed to help gymnasts develop balance, body positions, flexibility, self-confidence and strength.
Sessions begin the week of Sept. 12 and run six weeks, with a choice between Mondays or Thursdays. Children 3-6 may sign up for sessions from 4:45-5:15 p.m. Sessions from 5:15-6 p.m. are open to 7- to 18-year-olds, and sessions for adults are offered 8-9 p.m.
The cost to participate is $30.
The program is for all ages at all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.
All students should wear comfortable clothing. No jeans or jewelry will be allowed, with the exception of small stud earrings. Gymnasts may choose to wear socks. Hair must be pulled back for safety.
The classes at Roosevelt Community Recreation Center racquetball court No. 1 will be taught by Jeff Ide, who has more than 30 years of gymnastics experience. Ide will have an assistant to help provide individualized instruction.
