We don?t hear much, if any, of this on TV recently. I for one, feel we need more of this type of programming for our kids and grandkids to see on TV. Mr. Rogers? spoke in a soft and calm manner, much different from most shows on TV now.
On March 23, in Des Moines a concert, as a tribute to Mr. Rogers,? with some of the songs from the show, will be performed in a ?jazzed up? form. The show begins at 7 p.m. at the River Center, 340 S.W. Third Street. Mr. Rogers? died in 2003.
