Trio of girls’ wrestling teams compete in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG — Three area girls wrestling teams were in Williamsburg on Monday night, as Mt. Pleasant, Washington and WACO all traveled to the meet.
Mt. Pleasant had the best performance of the three schools, taking 21st place, with 25 points. Washington was 25th, with 15.5, and WACO finished 27th, with 10.
The Panthers’ top wrestler at the tournament was Zenlynn Lee, who finished with in the 145-pound bracket. Paris Phosy was a placewinner as well, finishing eighth at 115.
The Demons didn’t have any wrestlers finish in the Top-8. WACO’s lone place-winner was Elyssa Graber, who took sixth at 105.
