Fairfield cards top scores in both girls and boys, Washington finishes third

FAIRFIELD — Fairfield and Washington boys and girls bowling squared off against one another, along with Centerville in a Triangular on Monday at the Trojans Flamingo Lanes.
For Fairfield, it was a successful day on the lanes and the Trojan boys and girls both picked up wins with the boys putting up 2,408 points and the girls 2,007.
Washington posted 1,214 in the boys meet and the girls ended with 1,054.
The Centerville boys had 2,194 points, while the girls bowled 1,747.
Chase Johnston, Dayson Workman, Ethan Cass and Ian Aplara went one through four for the Fairfield boys.
Johnston carded 379 total pins, Workman bowled 359, Cass had 358 and Aplara ended with 346.
Dalton Drish took eighth with 280 pins and Dylan Adam finished in 11th with 264 pins.
For Washington, Cooper Zahs finished with 217 pins, Gabriel Castillo had 216 pins, Kelver Lopez finished with 187 pins and Quintyn Garibay had 179.
Fairfield’s Rae Ehret and Elizabeth Hootman took the top two scores on the girls’ side. Ehret tallied 330 pins, while Hootman finished with 327.

Grace Forrest finished fourth with 261. Kiara Bickham ended in seventh-place with 241 pins. Nicole Robb had 227 and Eleanore Houston had 221.
Washington was paced by Brittany Diveney, who finished third with 269 pins. Emma Chenoweth was ninth with 233 pins. Emma Loeffler took 10th with 231 pins.
