FAIRFIELD — It was the night before Homecoming at Trojan Stadium, and the annual Powderpuff football game was captivating the audience 24 hours before Benton came to town.
The junior class won the Homecoming tournament, beating the seniors 12-0 in the championship game. In the semifinals, the seniors beat the freshmen 6-0 in overtime, and the juniors outlasted the sophomores by the same score, 6-0 in overtime.
