Trojan girls? golf competes in Donnellson

DONNELLSON ? The Fairfield girls? golf team came up empty Saturday at the Central Lee Invitational in Donnellson.

The Trojans finished last in the five-team field at Green Acres Country Club with a score of 495. Washington ran away with the team title with a score of 362, and Mount Pleasant came in second at 379.

Tori Ogden was the low Trojan on the par-74 course with a 116, followed by Ashley Henkel at 123. Fairfield?s Abbi Messer shot a 124 and Haley Williams checked in with a 132 to complete the team score.

Kristen Terrell and Rachael Gros were alternates with scores of 135 and 139, respectively.

Mount Pleasant?s Natalie Booton fired an 82 to earn meet medalist honors.

The Trojans return to action today at Burlington?s Grayhound Invitational before hosting Mount Pleasant Tuesday.
