Trojan girls grab one set in loss to Pioneers
Maharishi gives up just one set in matchup with Fairfield

FAIRFIELD — Maharishi girls tennis stayed perfect on Thursday with a victory in a battle of teams from Fairfield.
The Pioneers were winners over the Fairfield Trojans 8-1.
Maharishi won all six of the individual matches, while dropping just one of the doubles matches.
Ishita Mukadam defeated Sydney Wells 8-5 in the No. 1 match.
Poojita Mukadam was a winner over Madison Greiner 8-1.
Saraswati Quevedo-Valls defeated Emma Wendland 8-2.
Daira Valls Blazquez picked up a victory in the No. 4 bout over Giteeka Adhikari 8-4.
In the No. 5 match, Isabella Castle was victorious over Una Carter 8-1.
Mariia Minieieva downed Lola Hatchette 9-7 in the No. 6 match.
On the doubles side of things, the Trojan’s one winner came from the duo of Wendland and Adhikari who downed Quevedo-Valls and Blazquez 8-3.
Wells and Greiner fell to Ishita Mukadam and Poojita Mukadam 8-1.
Carter and Hatchette were topped by Castle and Minieieva 8-2.
Maharishi stays perfect on the season at 5-0, while Fairfield drops to 3-4 on the year.
