Trojan girls host Fairfield Relays

FAIRFIELD — Fairfield girls track and field hosted its Fairfield Relays on Tuesday night.

Just five teams took part in the relays, with Fairfield (84) taking second ahead of Burlington (80), Oskaloosa (71) and Central Lee (23).

Fort Madison was the team champion with 120 points.

The Trojans saw a lot of success both individually and team wise. Fairfield notched 13 top three finishes. Fairfield finished with two individual champions in Lilly Bergren in the 100-meter hurdles and Ireland Cranston in the 400-meter hurdles.

The Trojans also picked up a pair of wins in the relays, with the 800 medley relay and the 4x100-meter shuttle hurdle taking the top spot.
