BURLINGTON — The Fairfield girls soccer team was unable to contain Burlington freshman Kevynn Siefken for the second time on Monday night. After burning the Trojans for three goals in the season opener, Siefken netted another hat trick as Burlington upended Fairfield 4-1.
The Grayhounds shut the Trojans out in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into the break. Clare Else scored for the Trojans in the second half, but Burlington put up two more.
The Trojans fell to 1-5 overall and 1-4 in Southeast Conference play with the loss. They host Mt. Pleasant on Thursday.
