Trojan JV girls victorious on road
The Fairfield JV girls? basketball team used a balanced offensive attack to get past both Fort Madison and Danville in a pair of weekend road games.
The Trojans topped Fort Madison 35-26 on Friday before rolling to an even more dominant 50-27 win against Danville Saturday. A total of 10 girls scored in at least one of the two games for Fairfield.

The Fairfield JV girls? basketball team used a balanced offensive attack to get past both Fort Madison and Danville in a pair of weekend road games.
The Trojans topped Fort Madison 35-26 on Friday before rolling to an even more dominant 50-27 win against Danville Saturday. A total of 10 girls scored in at least one of the two games for Fairfield.
In Friday?s game, Mackenzie Flattery led the way with nine points, and Karley Williams scored seven points with four steals. Sierra Drish and Mackenzie McClure had six and five points, respectively, while Delaney Neil tacked on four points and a pair of steals. Both Molly Ryan and Taylor Ferrel scored two points each.
Then, in Saturday?s rout, Williams paced the Trojans with nine points and Addison Thornton added seven. Flattery and Madison Roberts scored six points apiece, and McClure finished with six points and four steals. Ferrel had four points with four steals, while Ryan and Drish also scored four points each. Neil and Lindsey Repp rounded out the final score with two points each.
The Trojans will be back on the road Thursday against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont.
