Fairfield boys victorious, Mt. Pleasant girls are winners

MT. PLEASANT — Mt. Pleasant and Fairfield boys and girls bowling teams met in Mt. Pleasant on Thursday afternoon for a Southeast Conference match up.
Needless to say, it was a competition that went down to the final bowler on the boys’ side as Fairfield edged Mt. Pleasant by just one pin, 2,490-2,489.

On the girls’ side, Mt. Pleasant picked up a big win, 2,196-1,842.
For the Fairfield boys, Ethan Cass was the highest bowler on the day. Cass finished with 379 total pins. Dalton Drish followed with 350 pins. Ian Aplara totaled 336. Dylan Adam bowled 318. Dayson Workman had 299 and Chase Johnson 289.
The Mt. Pleasant boys were led by Christian Bracht-Wagner with a score of 391. Jonathan Fortin finished with 336. Henry Pforts ended with 316. Alec Payne rolled a 308. Joseph Rheinschmidt bowled a 287 and Xachary LeBlanc shot a 271
Addie McGehearty led the Panther girls with a 327. Bethany Drury followed with 295. Kylie Alldredge ended with 293. Kya Goodrich finished with 260. Cayla Burns tallied 252 and Tori Hixson bowled a 251.
The Fairfield girls were led by Elizabeth Hootman with a score of 294. Kiara Bickham ended with a total of 268. Rae Ehret finished with 257 pins. Nicole Robb followed with 231. Grace Forrest had 196 and Eleanore Houston had 182.
