Trojan soccer defeated at home and on the road
Fairfield boys and girls still looking for first Southeast Conference win with losses against Fort Madison

Monday was a tough go for both Fairfield boys and girls soccer. Each of the Trojan squads suffered defeats from the hands of Fort Madison, which means both are still searching for their first Southeast Conference win of the season.
The Trojan boys gave up all three of the Bloodhounds goals in the first half on their way to a 3-0 loss. Meanwhile, the Fairfield girls were defeated 10-0, the second straight double digit loss for the Trojans.
On the boys’ side, Fort Madison rattled off 23 shots, 12 of which were on goal. The Trojans accumulated six shots of their own, but with just three heading toward the target.
Dalton Drish saved four shot in goal for Fairfield. Carter Stark led the Trojans with three shots. Carter Moore took two shots and Binh Truong had one.
As for the girls, Fort Madison berated Fairfield with a whopping 34 shots, 19 on target. The Bloodhounds scored six goals in the first half and four more in the second.
Fairfield soccer will be back in action on Thursday against Washington. The Fairfield girls (0-2) will travel to Washington (1-4), while the Trojan boys (1-2) will host the Demons (3-0).
