Trojan volleyball headed to weekend tourneys
Both the Fairfield varsity and sophomore volleyball teams will be battling through tournaments come Saturday.
The varsity squad is headed to Ottumwa where it will take on Eddyville-Blakesburg, Centerville and Burlington in pool play. Fairfield kicks off the tournament at 8:30 a.m. against Eddyville. Both the Fairfield varsity and sophomore volleyball teams will be battling through tournaments come Saturday.
The varsity squad is headed to Ottumwa where it will take on Eddyville-Blakesburg, Centerville and Burlington in pool play. Fairfield kicks off the tournament at 8:30 a.m. against Eddyville. The other pool includes the host Bulldogs, Mount Pleasant, Davis County and Washington. The top two teams in each pool will continue on to a ?gold? bracket, and the third- and fourth-place teams from each bracket will move on to the consolation bracket.
The sophomore team is headed to an invite in Bettendorf to play Bettendorf, Davenport West and Linn Mar in pool A. Fairfield opens the tournament at 9:45 a.m. against Linn Mar.
