Trojan volleyball vaults past Keokuk
Dominant fourth set helps Fairfield steal road victory

KEOKUK — The Fairfield volleyball team picked up its first Southeast Conference win of the season on Tuesday night, beating Keokuk in four sets.
The Trojans stumbled in the second set, but controlled most of the night, including a crushing 19-point win in the fourth. Fairfield walked out with a 25-12, 21-25, 25-15, 25-6 victory.
Lilly Bergren dominated at the net, leading the way with 20 kills. Jaden Haynes had a huge game, going for 14 kills. Maddy Martin adden seven, and Jolie Crile had three.
Faith Jones dished out 40 assists for the Trojans, and also collected 16 digs. Isabel McCready finished with a team-high 20 digs.
Fairfield is now 5-6 on the season and 1-1 in conference play after winning their last four games in a row. The Trojans will be in Williamsburg for a tournament on Saturday.
