Trojan wrestling camp open for registration

A Trojan wrestling camp for students entering seventh through 12th grades has been scheduled June 29-30.

The camp, led by Fairfield varsity wrestling coach Steve Miller, will be held from 6-8 p.m. June 29 and 9 a.m. to noon June 30 in the Fairfield High School Gymnasium.

Fairfield assistant coach Glenn Rhees, a two-time college national champion, as well as a guest clinician from Grand View University?s championship team, also will be in attendance assisting Miller.

The camp will focus on offensive and defensive techniques that will improve wrestlers? neutral, top and bottom skills. The camp will include the drilling of techniques and some live situational wrestling.

Cost for the camp is $30 per person, though cost is $20 for each additional child in a family.
