FAIRFIELD — Dan Breen Gym in Fairfield was rocking on Thursday night, as the Trojan boys wrestling team got its chance to shine in a Southeast Conference dual.
The Trojans were all over Keokuk all night long. Fairfield never wavered in a 60-12 blowout win.
“I wish Keokuk would have had more of their lineup here tonight,” said Fairfield head coach Steve Miller. “We ended up moving our whole lineup up just to get some matches and give the fans something to see, but it's always nice to beat a conference school.”
The Trojans had six pins on the night. Cael McCabe, Hayden Bowman, Julian Pumphrey, Aiden Westercamp, Calvin McClain and Dain Burkhart all won by pinfall.
