Trojans drop trio of games in Eddyville

EDDYVILLE ? Alex Simpson scored 21 points and Logan Fleeman added another 14, but the Trojan ninth-graders couldn?t get past Eddyville-Blakesburg Tuesday.

The Trojans fell 48-41 in Eddyville, dropping to 3-10 on the season.

Fairfield?s Narendra Martin contributed in several areas with four points, four boards and three steals. Tanner Deao scored two points. Simpson and Fleeman were active in the paint with nine and five boards, respectively.

The freshmen will be at Mid-Prairie Saturday.

Freshmen girls fall

EDDYVILLE ? The Trojans fell to Eddyville-Blakesburg 31-23 Tuesday in freshman girls basketball.

Leading the Trojans were MacKenzie McClure with 11 points and Karley Williams with six points. Madison Roberts and Addison Thornton added four and two points, respectively.

The freshmen will be looking to rebound Saturday when they visit Mid-Prairie.

JV girls beaten

EDDYVILLE ? The Fairfield JV girls? basketball team dropped a 51-39 contest to the Rockets Tuesday.

Seaira Drish scored 14 points and Erica Winslow netted 12 to pace the Trojans.

The JV girls are at Iowa City Regina tonight.
