Trojans eke out girls soccer postseason win
Fairfield plays Wednesday at Clear Creek-Amana

OSKALOOSA — Fairfield had to travel to the Lacey Sports Complex Friday for its Class 2A postseason girls soccer match and found the trip well worth it.
Fairfield defeated Oskaloosa 1-0 to advance to Wednesday’s match at Clear Creek-Amana (14-2). The winner will play the victor of the Dallas Center-Grimes match with Pella Friday at a site to be determined.
The Trojans made the most of their five shots on goal with Erica Bochmann producing the solitary goal of the match from a Clare Else assist.
Trisha Westphal had to turn away 15 Oskaloosa shots on goal for the clean sheet.
Fairfield has a 3-11 record and Oskaloosa ends at 5-10.
