Trojans take bowling wins

FAIRFIELD - Chance Swan had the high game and high series for Fairfield Saturday as the Trojans bowled a 2,793 team score for the boys. Davis County was second with 2,615 and Washington had a 1,753.
Fairfield's girls were second with 2,091 to Davis County's 2,147 and Washington was third with 1,995.
Swan had games of 192 and 255 for a 447. Ben Johnston rolled 223 and 178 for 401 while Jacob Scotton went 215-177-392 and Drake Drish scored 200-183-383. Anthony Osborn had a 159-224-383. Drake Rippey had 172-162-334.
Ethan Zieglowsky had the second-best totals on the day. Bowling for Washington, he scored 242-200 - 442. Teammate Drake Schluetter had a 164-180-344. Aiden Miller's scores were 121-134-255 and Liam Eldridge was 96-104-200.
Fairfield girls rolled their season high match series.
Karen Ehret of Fairfield was the top bowler with scores of 167 and 200 for a 367 series. This was her first 200 game in high school competition.
Davis County had the next three scores. Bailey Hird (145-146) and Nellie Higdon (135-156) of Fairfield each recorded a 291 series while McKayla Taylor posting a 143-124-267 and Sophia Mineart at 126-117-243.
Washington scores were Taylor Northup's 139-15 -290, Taylor Janecek's 145-13 -280, Dawsen Schluetter's 122-156-278, Katie Donnolly's 152-99-251 and Riley Swart's 117-113-230.
