Mid-Prairie boys 6th at Durant

The Mid-Prairie boys golf team tied for sixth out of 11 teams on Tuesday, shooting a 383 to tie with Iowa City Regina. West Branch won the meet with a 310.

Drew Schlabaugh was the top Mid-Prairie golfer on the day, shooting 91 to tie for 14th. Ian Schmidt tied for 21st, with a 96. Ben Mattes and Warren Scarff scored 98 apiece to round up the scorers, and Carson Pence shot 120, for 47th.

New London sweeps Mediapolis

MEDIAPOLIS — New London’s golf teams walked into Mediapolis and walked out with a pair of victories. The girls rolled 206-232, and the boys knocked the Bulldogs out 196-207.

Van Buren County knocks off Davis County

KEOSAUQUA — The Van Buren County girls vanquished Davis County 249-268 in a show down at Riverview Country Club.

Zoe Best led the way for the Warriors. She shot a 57 to win medalist honors. Keely Duncan took third overall, with a 62. Jazmine Pidget shot 64 to tie for fourth.

Georgia Padget rounded out the Van Buren County scorers with a 66. Emma Charbonneau finished at 70, and Bailey Page ended at 68.
