Turkey Trot results announced

Sixty-three runners and walkers participated in the annual Fairfield Park and Recreation Department Turkey Trot Saturday in Chautauqua Park, with competitors split up into 14 divisions.

Jan Hunerdosse posted a time of 8:50 to win the women?s mile event. Melanie Carlson was the overall female winner in the 5K with a clocking of 23:36.

Dean Pettit was the only runner in the men?s mile event, finishing in 11:06. Million Elala took the men?s 5K in 20:38, topping second-place Nico Dwbac by 17 seconds.
