Turner tosses 2-hitter

The Washington Demons won an away baseball game Monday behind Luke Turner's two-hit, one-walk, seven-strikeout performance.
Turner held Center Point-Urbana scoreless for a 12-0 Washington win in five innings.
The Demons connected on 13 hits.
Trevor Quigley was 4 for 4 with a double and batted in four runs. Ethan Patterson and Turner each hit a double.
Reece Mayer went 2 for 4 with three RBI. Cade Hennigan had three stolen bases and was 2 for 4. Wilx Witthoft and Patterson both went 2 for 3.
Washington is 17-7 and plays Solon (14-9-1) in Washington today.
