Two WACO wrestlers win at sectionals
Two WACO wrestlers did well Saturday, Feb. 4, in sectionals action and will take part in districts this weekend.
Kade McKinney (220) won the semifinals by a 13-2 major decision over Logan Robben from Mediapolis and won the first place match by fall in 3:08 over Calib Lilly from Wilton.
Cody Crawford (285) won the quarterfinals by fall in 1:28 over Dylan Leinen from Wilton. He won the semifinals by fall in 1:38 ...

Two WACO wrestlers did well Saturday, Feb. 4, in sectionals action and will take part in districts this weekend.
Kade McKinney (220) won the semifinals by a 13-2 major decision over Logan Robben from Mediapolis and won the first place match by fall in 3:08 over Calib Lilly from Wilton.
Cody Crawford (285) won the quarterfinals by fall in 1:28 over Dylan Leinen from Wilton. He won the semifinals by fall in 1:38 over Austin Van Amerongen from New London after losing the first place match to Brennan Breurer from Mediapolis 3-2 in a tiebreaker.
He won the wrestle back competition over Max Wetzel from Louisa-Muscatine by a 9-0 major decision to take second place.
