U of I improves student-athlete graduation rates
IOWA CITY (AP) ? The University of Iowa says its latest graduation success rate is tied for the best the school has ever posted.
The NCAA released its latest numbers Tuesday. The report says that 74 percent of student-athletes who enrolled in 2004-05 have since earned their degrees, up 13 points from a year ago.

Eighty-three percent of Iowa football players earned degrees during that time period, 14 percent above the national average.
The men?s basketball team saw 73 percent of its players graduated, while the women's team saw all of its athletes earn degrees.
