Union area football scrimmage schedule

Football season approaches as teams refine play with preseason scrimmages

The Iowa High School football season is right around the corner. While all classes will be in full swing next week, a number of area teams will be looking to make last minute tweaks with scrimmages this Friday.

Found below is a list of those scrimmages taking place Friday night.

5:30 p.m. — Washington at Muscatine

6 p.m. — Pekin, West Burlington, Wilton at Burlington

6 p.m. — Mid-Prairie at West Liberty

5 p.m. — Midland at Winfield-Mt. Union

5:30 p.m. — Wapello at New London
