This week’s Union area small school football games feature a Thursday night showdown in Class 1A District 6 and homecoming for Pekin as the Panthers look to stay perfect against fellow Union side Van Buren County.

Elsewhere, Winfield-Mt Union faces one of the best Class 8-player sides while WACO looks to bounce back from its first defeat of the season. Mid-Prairie hosts another 1-0 team in Class 2A District 6.
