Just 16 teams remain in the 2024 NCAA Women’s Tournament after a dramatic first week of action.
Round one was dominated by the high seeds, as there was just one upset with No. 6 Louisville falling to No. 11 Middle Tennessee.
In the Sweet 16, all No. 1 seeds are still alive as No. 1 Iowa will take on No. 5 Colorado. That game will be played on Saturday in Albany, New York inside MVP Arena.
No. 1 South Carolina will battle No. 4 Indiana, No. 1 Texas gets No. 4 Gonzaga and No. 1 USC will take on No. 5 Baylor.
All but one No. 2 seed finds itself in the Sweet 16, as No. 2 Ohio State lost to No. 7 Duke in the Round of 32. All four three seeds are still alive as well.
In the Southeast Iowa Union’s NCAA women’s tournament challenge, The Southeast Iowa Union’s own Alex Snyder leads the way with 570 total points. Sarah Krutsinger is close behind with 550 points.
