NEW LONDON - There are just 11 days until the first New London football game of the season. The Tigers are two years removed from their 2018 Class 8-Man state championship and one year removed from their second playoff berth in two years of 8-Man play.
The Tigers, like many Iowa football teams, are down to seven football games in 2020; four at home and three on the road.
New London lost its first two games, which were set to be at home against BGM, Brooklyn and at English Valleys. The schedule was also mixed up quite a bit later down the line.
New London will now start the season on the road at Moravia, which is one of their longest trips, at an hour and-a-half, but pales in comparison to their four-hour trip to Williams Bay, Wisconsin, where they began their 2019 campaign.
After that, every game is just moved up two weeks. The Tigers will open their home schedule against WACO and also host Montezuma, Winfield-Mt. Union and Tri-County in their own house. After Week 1, the Tigers will just have two road games left, a Week 4 date with Lone Tree, and at Twin Cedars to end the season.
Listed below is New London's new 2020 football schedule. All games are set to tip off at 7 p.m.
