Van Buren boys' track teams runs well at home meet
The Van Buren boys? track team hosted the Van Buren Invitational Thursday in Keosauqua.
The Warriors competed in Class A with three other teams. Junior Garrett Saunders won the 400-meter hurdles and finished second in the long jump. He also was part of the 4x200 and 4x800 relay teams that finished first. The other three relay members were Tom Fitzsimmons, Wyatt Cole and Drew Nolting.

Cole won the 800 and Gavin Heald won the high jump. The shuttle hurdle relay team, composed of Heald, Ty Stockwell, Jesse Fuller and Nolan Lydolph also finished in first place.
