Van Buren County basketball swept by Notre Dame

BURLINGTON — It was a tough night for the Van Buren County basketball teams on Monday, as they drew the unfortunate task of a road doubleheader at Notre Dame.
After falling by 49 points in their first matchup, the Warrior girls improved but still lost 65-35 to the seventh-ranked (1A) Nikes. The boys were beaten 70-39.
Ivy Davidson scored 10 for the Warrior girls to lead the way. Jackson Manning scored 16 points in the boys game.
Van Buren County is now 7-12 overall in girls basketball and 3-14 on the boys side.
