Van Buren County volleyball swept by Central Lee
Warriors fall in SEISC South Division home game

KEOSAUQUA — Two nights after beating rival Cardinal, the Van Buren County volleyball team was tagged with a Southeast Iowa Super Conference South Division loss at Central Lee. The Hawks swept the Warriors 26-24, 25-17 25-17.
“We struggled with defense and Central Lee was on the attack,” VBC head coach BJ Carter said.
Shea Scott finished the game with 10 kills to lead Van Buren County. Annabelle Cormier dished up 20 assists and led the defense with 17 digs.
Cormier and Ivy Davidson each had two service aces on the night. Kadence Nusbaum had one.
