Van Buren girls sink Notre Dame
BURLINGTON ? Makenzie Zeitler and Hanna Haynes both recorded double-doubles and the Van Buren girls? basketball team held on to beat Burlington-Notre Dame Tuesday.

Zeitler had 20 points and 14 boards and Haynes recorded 18 points and 15 rebounds to pace Van Buren to a 57-50 win.

Van Buren also went 19 of 30 from the free throw line and scored all 14 of their fourth quarter points from the charity stripe.
Jessica Saunders poured in another 13 points, six boards and three steals. Jordan Billups added five points and five rebounds.
Defensively, Zeitler led the Warriors in steals with six, while Haynes blocked five shots.
The Warriors will travel to Danville Friday.
