Van Buren swept at Mediapolis
Warriors’ run ends in regional quarterfinals
MEDIAPOLIS — The Van Buren County volleyball season came to an abrupt end on Wednesday night, as the Warriors weren’t able to stifle Mediapolis in the Class 2A Region 8 quarterfinals.
The Warriors improved in each game but couldn’t take any sets away from the Bullettes, falling 25-12, 25-18, 25-21.
Van Buren County ended its 2021 season 12-18. The Warriors had previously beaten rival Cardinal to advance on to play Mediapolis.
