Van Buren takes two from WACO
KEOSAUQUA ? The Van Buren boys and girls? golf teams both picked up wins Tuesday against WACO at Riverview Golf Course in Keosauqua.

KEOSAUQUA ? The Van Buren boys and girls? golf teams both picked up wins Tuesday against WACO at Riverview Golf Course in Keosauqua.
The boys team won 189-212 and was led by medalist Bryce Philips who shot the lowest round of the day with a four over par 40. In addition to the Philips, the next two golfers for the Warriors were lower than any golfer from WACO as Austin Countryman carded a 48 and Caleb Millard fired a 49. Lewis Russell?s 52 completed the varsity score, and the 53 from Joe Aguirre and 59 from Eric Chaplin were alternate scores.
The girls? team was led by Alex Rambo and her round of 52 in its close 244-246 victory. Kalia Butts shot a 54, Maddisen Hughes tallied a 60 and Alicia Schalla ended up with a 78 for the Warriors.
