Van Buren tops Harmony in volleyball
FARMINGTON ? The Van Buren volleyball team snapped a five-game losing streak Monday with a decisive 3-0 sweep of Harmony.
The Warriorettes took wins by scores of 25-15, 25-23 and 25-21.
Hanna Haynes had a team-high 13 kills, and Jordan Billups added 11 digs. Makenzie Zeitler, Haynes and Billups blasted three aces apiece.

?The girls played solid tonight and never gave up,? said head coach Bonnie Watson. ?We got down in the second game, but they fought back for every point and then got the win. It was nice to see them passing the ball and then finishing it with an aggressive hit.?
Van Buren, now 6-12, will host Central Lee today.
